Um, so, I guess we leave for London tomorrow? I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by, particularly this past week in which I made about 47 trips to Target. See, I've got what they call "baby brain," meaning my brain works no better than a baby's. No. I don't think that's it. I guess it's when you can't, for the life of you remember ANYTHING. So not only do I have to pack for a baby to live some other place for 2 months, I have to do it with baby brain.
Everyone has been very sweet in trying to help us get ready, and I want to particularly say thank you to my parents, my brother, and Jen and Mike. Having family and friends willing and able to keep our dogs for us is the only reason we can even make this trip. We love you all and are humbled by the generous spirit to which you've approached your roles as foster parents to the puppies. They love you too!
